Ch. Surrey Hill's Golden Boy  "Butters"

SBIS Ch. Chelsea Melt Everyone JC  "Smooth"

CH Surrey Hill's Golden Boy, "Butters" (CH Chelsea Chalcedony x CH Diablesse Surrey Hill Say Yaha OTR TRP DPC JC) is a young boy who just finished his Championship at 13 months of age. We think he has an exciting future in all venues of Whippetdom. This is "Butters" first litter. Wanting to concentrate the qualities which make "Smooth" so unique we chose her charismatic grandson to sire her last litter. We want to thank Karen Lee and Kristen Fredericks for loaning "Butters" to us for a few days after the 2008 National. He was efficient and effective during his few days at Coreymore.

SBIS Ch. Chelsea Melt Everyone JC, "Smooth" (Multi BIS SBIS Dual CH Chelsea Long Kiss Goodnight FCH ROMX x CH Chelsea Oxford Sunday Silence JC ROMX) was WB and BOW at the AWC National in Dallas, TX. She is a multiple Specialty winner. She moves the way Whippets were meant to move--she can do it all. Besides her JC she is just one first place short of her ASFA field champion title. A proven dam of a multiple champion litter, we look forward to seeing what she has in store for us this time. "Smooth" is a one in a million bitch. We are so proud and pleased to have her at Coreymore for this litter. Many thanks to Deann and Lee Christianson for the privilege and opportunity of having this girl in our family for a little while.

CH Coreymore Smooth Jazz of Chelsea

Desmond finished his Championship at 11 months of age with three majors and three Best of Breed wins over male specials. He topped that off in his first weekend as a move-up special with this Group Third at Mt. Bachelor Kennel Club's show in Redmond, OR, as selected by Breed judge Dr. Steve Keating and Group judge Virginia Lyne. For the next few months Desi will be at home at Coreymore as he matures.

and Supported Entry, February 27, 2009

Left to Right:
Coreymore Smooth Operator of Chelsea -- "Bogart"
Coreymore Smooth Jazz of Chelsea -- "Desmond"
Coreymore Butterscotch Smoothie of Chelsea -- "Jamba"

The puppies turned 8 months old while this set of shows was going on. They were shown seven times: two Sweeps, a specialty, a supported entry, and three all-breed shows.

In the two Sweeps, the boys went first and second, and first and third; the bitch won her class both days. Bogart was also BOS in the Sweeps the second day.

Bogart was WD for a five point major under Betty Anne Stenmark. Thank you, Deann Christianson, for handling Bogart on that day. He was also Reserve three days in the major entries. He won his class every time in the ring except one--when he was second.

Jamba won her class five of the seven times she was in the ring. The other two times she was second in the class.

Here is Jamba (Coreymore Butterscotch Smoothie of Chelsea) again, receiving Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex at the Palouse Hills Dog Fanciers show on Saturday, April 18 in Lewiston, ID, from judge Mrs. Dany Canino.

On Sunday, July 5, 2009, Jamba was awarded Best of Breed and a Group III at the Coos Kennel Club show in Bandon, OR. This win was from the 12-18 month class and she defeated her newly-finished brother, Desmond, for the Breed win. Jamba's breed judge was Noreen Cartwright, and the Group judge was Dr. Alvin Krause.

This is Ame, also known as Cottonwood Buttercream of Chelsea, receiving Group 2 at the 2009 Western Hound Association show in Silverado, CA on Sunday, April 12. The judge was Mr. Richard Beauchamp. Ame is owned by Sharron Simmons.

We are very proud of these puppies and look forward to them maturing and getting past the teen aged ganglies.
